At lost end found Ltd, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Launchd Buddy ("the App") handles your data.

The Short Version

Launchd Buddy does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data. The App runs entirely on your Mac. It reads launchd plist files and interacts with launchctl to manage your agents and daemons. There is no server, no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking.

Data Collection and Use

No Data Collection

We do NOT collect:

• Personal information or identifiers
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Information about your launchd agents or scheduled tasks
• Crash reports or diagnostics
• App usage patterns

Local Processing Only

All operations happen locally on your Mac. The App reads plist files from ~/Library/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchAgents, and uses launchctl commands to manage agent state. No configuration or status data is transmitted anywhere.

Network Access

The App does not make any network requests. It has no server component and does not communicate with any external service.

File Access

The App reads and writes launchd plist files in standard macOS locations:

• ~/Library/LaunchAgents — User-level agents
• /Library/LaunchAgents — System-wide agents (read-only)

It also reads log files specified in agent StandardOutPath and StandardErrorPath fields. It does not access personal files, documents, or other user data.

Third-Party Services

Launchd Buddy does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Since the App does not collect data, significant changes to our privacy practices are unlikely.
