Terms of Service — Lull

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lull ("the App") provided by lost end found Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lull, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

2. Description of Service

Lull is a native macOS email client. The App:

• Connects to your Gmail account via secure Google OAuth authentication
• Delivers mail in batches on a schedule you choose, instead of in real time
• Provides full-screen, one-message-at-a-time triage and a split-screen Focus mode for replying
• Caches mail locally on your Mac for offline reading and full-text search
• Stores authentication tokens locally in macOS Keychain

3. Open Source License

Lull's source code is published under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL-2.0). You may build the App from source yourself under the terms of that license. The signed build distributed through the Mac App Store is a separate, paid distribution of the same software, sold to fund ongoing development — purchasing it does not grant you any rights beyond the MPL-2.0 license already available with the source.

4. Google Account Requirement

Use of this App requires a valid Google/Gmail account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
• All activities that occur through your Google account when using the App
• Complying with Google's Terms of Service

We are not responsible for the security, availability, or content of Google's services.

5. User Obligations

When using our App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to circumvent the App's licensing or distribution terms
• Not use the App to violate Google's terms of service

6. Intellectual Property

The App's source code is licensed under MPL-2.0 as described above. The Lull name, branding, and any trademarks remain the property of lost end found Ltd.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your information. In summary: we run no servers and collect no data — your mail and OAuth tokens stay on your Mac.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on Google's Gmail API. We do not control Google and are not responsible for:

• Gmail service availability or downtime
• Changes to Google's API
• Google's privacy practices or terms of service

9. App Store Purchase

When available, Lull is sold as a one-time purchase through the Mac App Store. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Continuous access to Gmail services
• Accuracy or completeness of mail data

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, lost end found Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

12. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Mac App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and lost end found Ltd only, and not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
