At lost end found Ltd, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Tidybox AI ("the App") handles your data.
The Short Version
Tidybox AI does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data. The App runs entirely on your Mac. It scans folders you choose, analyzes file contents using on-device AI, and organizes files locally. There is no server, no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking.
Data Collection and Use
No Data Collection
We do NOT collect:
- Personal information or identifiers
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- File contents, names, or metadata
- AI analysis results or organization plans
- Crash reports or diagnostics
Local Processing Only
All file scanning, content extraction (OCR, PDF text, metadata), and AI-powered organization happen locally on your Mac using Apple's Foundation Models framework. No file data is sent to any server or cloud service.
AI Processing
Tidybox AI uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models to analyze file content and suggest folder structures. This AI processing runs entirely on your Apple Silicon chip. No data is sent to Apple, to us, or to any third party for AI processing.
Network Access
The App does not make any network requests. It has no server component and does not communicate with any external service. Your files never leave your Mac.
File Access
The App only accesses folders that you explicitly select using the macOS file picker. It uses security-scoped bookmarks to remember folder access between sessions. The App reads file contents (text, metadata, image data) to provide intelligent organization suggestions. File moves and renames only happen after your explicit approval.
Operation History
Tidybox AI stores a local history of file operations (moves and renames) in your Application Support folder to enable undo functionality. This data stays on your Mac and is never transmitted anywhere.
Third-Party Services
Tidybox AI does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms. The only frameworks used are native Apple frameworks bundled with macOS.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Since the App does not collect data, significant changes to our privacy practices are unlikely.
