Terms of Service — SideClaw

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SideClaw ("the App") provided by lost end found Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SideClaw, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

2. Description of Service

SideClaw is a paid macOS sidebar chat application that connects to an OpenClaw gateway. The App:

Provides a sidebar drawer anchored to the right edge of your screen
Connects to your OpenClaw gateway for AI chat
Supports markdown rendering, code blocks, and streaming responses
Offers session management and cron job scheduling
Runs as a menu bar app with a global hotkey (⌘+Shift+E)
Has no server component — all communication is with your OpenClaw gateway

3. User Obligations

When using our App, you agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Not redistribute or resell the App
Ensure your OpenClaw gateway is properly configured and secured
Be responsible for the content of your conversations and prompts

The App requires a configured OpenClaw gateway to function. You are responsible for running and maintaining your own gateway. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or security of your OpenClaw gateway instance.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by lost end found Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your information. In summary: we don't collect any data.

7. AI-Generated Content

Responses from the AI are generated by your OpenClaw gateway and the underlying language models. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any information or code provided through the chat interface.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
That AI responses will be accurate or complete
Continuous, uninterrupted access to your OpenClaw gateway

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, lost end found Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

10. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and lost end found Ltd only, and not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.

11. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact Apple Support or use the "Report a Problem" feature on your App Store receipt.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
