Terms of Service — GitLab Issues

Last updated: May 2026

These terms apply to your use of GitLab Issues (the "App"), distributed by lost end found Ltd through the Mac App Store. Using the App means you agree to them.

What you get

A one-time purchase from the Mac App Store grants a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use GitLab Issues on the Apple devices associated with your Apple ID, in line with Apple's Standard EULA.

Your GitLab data

The App talks to whichever GitLab instances you configure using personal access tokens you create. You are responsible for the scope of those tokens and for the actions taken through them. We don't see, store, or process your GitLab data — see the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

If your employer or organisation owns the GitLab instance you connect to, make sure your use of the App is allowed by their security and acceptable-use policies before you connect a token.

Updates

We ship updates through the Mac App Store. Updates may add, change, or remove features. We won't break paid features without notice, but we may evolve the app's surface area as GitLab's API evolves.

What we don't promise

The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We make no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future GitLab releases or future macOS versions.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the App, including (but not limited to) data loss in GitLab caused by actions you took through the App.

This doesn't limit liability that cannot be excluded under English consumer law (e.g. for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).

Refunds

Refunds for Mac App Store purchases are handled by Apple. If something is genuinely broken, email larry@lostendfound.com and we'll help where we can; for refund requests please use reportaproblem.apple.com.

Termination

You can stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may terminate the licence if you misuse the App in ways that violate Apple's App Store Review Guidelines or applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes you can't resolve with us by email will go to the courts of England and Wales.
