Vinyl Vault for Discogs is a native iOS and macOS app that connects to your Discogs account to browse your vinyl collection, search the marketplace, explore artists and labels, and manage your wantlist. Built for vinyl collectors, by vinyl collectors.

Getting Started

  1. Download Vinyl Vault from the App Store (iOS) or Mac App Store (macOS)
  2. Launch the app on your device
  3. Tap "Sign in with Discogs" to connect your account
  4. Grant permission for the app to access your collection and wantlist
  5. Start browsing your vinyl collection!

Discogs OAuth Sign-in

Vinyl Vault uses OAuth to securely connect to your Discogs account. This means:

  • Your username and password are never shared with our app
  • You authorize specific permissions through Discogs' secure login page
  • You can revoke access at any time from your Discogs account settings
  • Authentication tokens are stored securely in your device's Keychain

A: Yes, Vinyl Vault requires a Discogs account to function. The app connects to Discogs' API to access your collection and marketplace data. If you don't have a Discogs account, you can create one for free at discogs.com.

Q: Is my data safe?

A: Absolutely. Vinyl Vault does not collect any personal data. Your Discogs credentials are stored securely in your device's Keychain, and all communication with Discogs is encrypted. We never see or store your collection data.

Q: Can I use the app offline?

A: The app requires an internet connection to access your Discogs data. However, recently viewed content may be cached locally for faster loading.

Q: Why can't I see my collection?

A: Ensure you're signed in to Discogs and have granted the app permission to access your collection. If you're still having issues, try signing out and signing back in.

A: Yes! Vinyl Vault is a universal iOS app that works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Your purchase includes access on all platforms.
