These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vinyl Vault for Discogs ("the App") provided by lost end found Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Vinyl Vault for Discogs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.
2. Description of Service
Vinyl Vault for Discogs is a native iOS and macOS application that provides access to your Discogs collection and marketplace data. The App:
- Connects to your Discogs account via secure OAuth authentication
- Displays your vinyl collection with album artwork and details
- Allows marketplace search for releases and price checking
- Provides access to artist and label information
- Manages your Discogs wantlist
- Stores authentication credentials locally in device Keychain
3. Discogs Account Requirement
Use of this App requires a valid Discogs account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Discogs account credentials
- All activities that occur through your Discogs account when using the App
- Complying with Discogs' Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
We are not responsible for the security, availability, or content of Discogs' service.
4. User Obligations
When using our App, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not redistribute or resell the App
- Not use the App to violate Discogs' terms of service
- Respect intellectual property rights in album artwork and metadata
5. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by lost end found Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Album artwork and metadata are owned by their respective rights holders and accessed through Discogs' API.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your information. In summary: we don't collect any data from you.
7. Third-Party Services
The App relies on Discogs' API and services. We do not control Discogs and are not responsible for:
- Discogs service availability or downtime
- Changes to Discogs' API or data structure
- Accuracy or completeness of data from Discogs
- Discogs' privacy practices or terms of service
8. App Store Purchase
Vinyl Vault for Discogs is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store and Mac App Store. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Continuous access to Discogs services
- Accuracy or completeness of collection data
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, lost end found Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use or inability to use the App.
11. App Store Terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and lost end found Ltd only, and not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
